STRAIGHT & BODY WAVE

Heat is your biggest enemy! Avoid, or limit your daily use if you can. 

Anytime you use heat, use a heat protectant. We recommend Design Essentials’ Moroccan Oil Mist.

Condition hair at least once a week using a good quality sulfate-free product. Use moisture-rich products for the best results.

WHEN WASHING

Do not massage the hair. Rinse thoroughly.

Apply a moisturizing conditioner and comb hair, starting with the ends working your way up.

After washing, use a dime size amount of oil to lock the moisture in your hair.

Let air-dry.

Do not use oil products excessively on your hair it will cause the hair to weigh down and become stringy and stiff.

WET N WAVY/CURLY

For maintaining that curly wet look, the best combination is: a spray bottle, a good leave in conditioner, and/or a styling mousse to lock it in.

Absolutely NO HEAT unless pressing out the closure/frontal on the unit with a hot comb.

Apply a moisture rich Conditioner and comb hair, starting with the ends working your way up to your roots.

Leave Conditioner in for at least 15 minutes or more.

Do not massage the hair.

Rinse thoroughly.

Scrunch hair gently to enhance the curls.

When damp, apply a dime size of an anti-frizz alcohol free hair serum for a more tamed look.

Let air-dry.

Do not use oil products excessively on curly hair, it will cause matting.

Do not brush or comb hair when dry, it will cause hair to frizz and may cause hair to tangle & break off.

Important NOTE: Conditioner only wash is recommended at least 3 times a week

DYE AND BLEACH

If you ARE NOT professionally trained and want to have your unit colored, or bleached — don’t damage your unit! Seek professional assistance.

DAILY CARE

Before going to bed, braid your hair into one loose large braid and wear a satin silk scarf or bonnet. A satin pillow case is always the move, AND a satin EDGE scarf. 

If you can sleep with all three, please do.

VIRGIN & RAW

It is recommended to co-wash hair prior to installation for the best results.

SEWIN CARE

Wash your own hair, and the extensions/wig biweekly.

Wash two times through, condition, and follow up with a silicone mix deep conditioner (always let your hair air dry overnight)

WIG REVIVAL

Boil in apple cider vinegar, wash 3 times, deep condition for 24 hours. 

Always always air dry! Proceed with styling.

LACE CARE

It is very important that you know that lace pieces are to be done by a professional. Lace accessories are delicate and easy to damage if you are unfamiliar on how to care for them. The hair is only attached to the lace by a knot. If you over process your knots, you will experience a serious case of shedding. If you are too rough on the lace by combing & brushing it will shed. 

HD Lace pieces are not meant to last forever. Originally lace wigs, frontals & closures were for movies & performances. They have now transitioned into being an everyday wear for everyone.

It's important you know and understand the lifespan of lace. 

Your bundles can be re-used 1-2 years with proper care & depending how often you wear them. You will be able to reuse your lace up to 5 times with proper care. Keep in mind that they will shed overtime.

Do NOT rub the lace! Comb or brush through it.

It is also NOT RECOMMENDED to pluck too much of the hair, to avoid excess shedding.

Absolutely ALL units can be worn glue less.
